Voluson Performance Series Day – Thailand
GE Healthcare in collaboration with IDSMED Thailand organized a “Voluson Performance Series Day”. The event was held in Centara Hatyai Hotel, Songkla Province with a total of 25 participants coming from difference province in Southern of Thailand.
The day started off with a welcoming speech and sharing experience in 3D/4D ultrasound Obstetric by Daphne Lim (Country Sales Manager, Ultrasound - TH/SG/Myanmar) followed by a series of lectures about Physics of Ultrasound in 2D/3D/4D, How to manipulate ultrasound machine for 3D/4D image by Dr.Manaphat Suksai; Maternal Fetal Medicine, Prince of Songkla University and followed by lectures in clinical used of 3D/4D with abnormal case by Dr.Savitree Pranpanus; Maternal Fetal Medicine, Prince of Songkla University.
During the 2nd half of the day, hands-on session was being conducted, whereby participants was separated into 4 different groups assigned to 4 different live-scanning stations individually and both speaker guided them how to capture a nice 3D/4D image along with some tips & tricks on how to operate a Voluson system.
