On all Volusons with a touchpanel, pressing the bottom left button under the touch panel will instantly increase your sector width to the maximum available on that probe and pressing it again will revert you to your previous sector width. Great when searching for ovaries or measuring the distance from placenta to the internal os!
When in Pulse Doppler, rotating the same button (now called sensitivity) will allow you to adjust how tightly you “hug” the PW trace.
